Amazon says(Opens in a new window) it’s launching RxPass to “help patients save time, save money, and stay healthy” and claims the cost saving for customers is as high as 68% per medication. A Prime subscription is required before RxPass can be used, and Prime members in most US states can take advantage of this new subscription. However, “customers who are enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other government health care program will not be able to enroll in RxPass.” For any prescription medication not eligible for RxPass, Amazon Pharmacy should still be able to provide them through E-Scribe(Opens in a new window).
