Bills, Allen Roll Vs 49ers

Josh Allen might not have been his all-time career best on Monday Night Football this week, but it’s hard to imagine he could play many games much better than he did. The Buffalo Bills starting quarterback led the way in their 34-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers, throwing for 375 yards, which is a career-high, and four touchdowns.

Two of those came in a devastating second quarter in which the Bills outscored their opponents 17-0 and built a lead too large to have much trouble from. His favorite target on the evening was Cole Beasley, who had nine grabs with one TD and 130 yards total. They had been trailing 7-0 after the opening 15 minutes as well, so it is quite the turnaround that they were able to so easily dominate late throughout the rest of the game. The defense also played its part in improving their record to 9-3, one game ahead of Miami for the AFC East lead, picking off Nate Mullens twice. The 49ers fell to 5-7 with the defeat, keeping them rock bottom of the NFC West.
