The Buffalo Bills needed a few things to go their way if they wanted to make the playoffs this year, some were in their hands while others were not.

First, they had to win their win their game against the Miami Dolphins, which they did 22-16.

The one other thing they needed to happen was for the Cincinnati Bengals to beat the Baltimore Ravens. Late in the game, the Bengals were trailing 27-24 and were facing 4th and 12. The offensive line gave quarterback Andy Dalton a lot of time in the pocket where he delivered a 25 yards pass to Tyler Boyd who ran for a touchdown.

This is a great moment for one of the most faithful fanbases in the country who have not seen much success from their team in nearly two decades.

While one of these games was out of the Bills control, they made sure they thanked the Bengals for making their playoff berth possible.

No matter what happens in the playoffs, this is a step in the right direction for a team that has struggled for years.
