The Toronto Blue Jays thought that they were done with their house shopping on Wednesday when it emerged that they would be playing their ‘home’ games in Pittsburgh in 2020.
However, it soon became clear that they would not be welcome there after the Pennsylvania government ruled against them getting the opportunity to do so. That means the Blue Jays remain homeless as their first home outing quickly approaches on July 29th. As of now, the options include playing their ‘home’ games at the visiting ball park, playing at Triple-A Buffalo, or even at their spring training facilities. They had been trying to play in a major league stadium, per the players’ requests, but that may now be thrown out the window entirely.
