Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, girlfriend of Boris Becker, has been pictured visiting the former tennis champion in Wandsworth Prison.

Becker was convicted of four charges of insolvency relating to his bankruptcy in 2017, and was jailed for over two years last week.

London-based political risk analyst Lillian, who supported Becker, 54, throughout his trial last month, was seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans with a denim jacket and sunglasses, while carrying a holdall.

She was also seen without the bag and cap, as she was escorted into the prison.

It’s reported Lilian, who was born on the African island of Sao Tome and Principe, has been with Becker for three years. She has three degrees, including a masters in African Studies from London’s School of African and Oriental Studies and can reportedly speak five languages including German, English and her native Portuguese.

Meanwhile, Becker has been married twice before, announcing his divorce from Dutch model Lilly Becker in 2018 after nine years of marriage. He has four children; Anna Ermakova, Amadeus, Noah and Elias Balthasar.

The Wimbledon champion and BBC pundit was jailed for two-and-a-half years last week for hiding £2.5million worth of assets and loans to avoid paying his debts.

The former world number one, 54, was declared bankrupt on June 21 2017, owing creditors almost £50m, over an unpaid loan of more than £3m on his estate in Mallorca, Spain.

Judge Deborah Taylor said he had shown no remorse or acceptance of guilt.

Referring to his previous bankruptcy conviction, the judge said: ‘You did not heed the warning you were given and the chance you were given by the suspended sentence and that is a significant aggravating factor.’

She told Becker she had taken into account his ‘fall from grace’.

‘You have lost your career and reputation and all of your property as a result of your bankruptcy,’ the judge said.

But she added: ‘You have not shown remorse, acceptance of your guilt and have sought to distance yourself from your offending and your bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Becker had been warned he may need to change his hair colour so he’s not easily recognised in prison.

The disgraced former number one tennis star used to have ginger hair, but has since dyed it platinum white.

A family member of one prisoner told The Sun: ‘I’m sure people will ask for his autograph as he’s very recognisable.

‘If he doesn’t want to be recognised he might have to dye his hair.’

Becker is expected to serve a year of his sentence and is then likely to be released with a tag.
