The Boston Bruins and the Colorado Avalanche each got wins on Thursday night to bring the second round of the NHL Playoffs to 2-2 in their respective series.’ Boston got a 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, scoring twice in the first and third periods to run out decisive winners.
Patrice Bergeron scored two goals and Tuukka Rask made 39 saves in the win. Colorado downed the San Jose Sharks 3-0 thanks to Nathan MacKinnon continuing his hot streak in front of goal. He scored once, Mikko Ratanen had two assists, and Philipp Grubauer was perfect in making 32 saves in the shutout win, the first of his career in the playoffs.
