Bucks Win Game 3 In Boston
The Milwaukee Bucks won Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the Boston Celtics 123-116 in the end on Friday night, but in truth it wasn’t even that close. The second half was dominated largely by them, drawing on inspiration from Giannis Antetekoumpo to lead the way. The Greek Freak nearly had a triple-double, posting 32 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, and three blocks along the way.
But it wasn’t just his aggressive approach. He had help in the form of Pat Connaughton, whose 14 points, most of which were in the first half, kept them in the game. George Hill was also vital off the bench, putting in 21 of his own, while Khris Middleton added 20. Kyrie Irving scored 29 for the Celtics, making 11 out of 12 from the free throw line. The Bucks missed over ten shots from the charity stripe and let a big lead slip down the stretch, or else the score could have been much more lopsided. The series will remain in Boston for Game 4 as the Celtics look to even it up.
