Bulls Tab Donovan As Next Coach

It feels like the Chicago Bulls have been in rebuilding mode for a few generations now, but they might finally have the man to take them into a more positive future. That man could be new head coach Billy Donovan, who was announced on Tuesday following a very aggressive recruitment period by Executive VP Arturas Karnisovas.

That aggressiveness paid off, as they were able to convince Donovan to not only leave the Oklahoma City Thunder after a good spell there but also to sign on the dotted line with the Bulls. Donovan, the former Florida Gators coach, is 55 and will inherit some young, talented players like Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen. He has plenty of work to do, but his track record shows he has what it takes to make them a competitive, relevant force once more.
