Austin Cindric came into this week’s Xfinity Series doubleheader at Kentucky with two wins in the series- both of which came at road courses, not the typical ovals the series runs. He left on Friday night with four wins overall and two on ovals, as he won for the second straight night, becoming the first person to ever do so in the series in the process.
The last time a NASCAR driver did that, in any series, it was Richard Petty way back in 1971. Having said that, the big news is going to have to be centered around Noah Gragson and Harrison Burton, who chose to fight after the race had wrapped up. They had tangled on track, yet again, and they took to fisticuffs to settle their differences. In a Covid world, you have to imagine NASCAR probably won’t be too happy with them (despite putting the video out there for the world to see, that is).
