Proof of delivery photos have become increasingly common in recent years, as the pictures allow companies and customers alike to rest assured their goods have been delivered as expected. But what can you do to prove an order has not arrived if you find yourself facing the opposite problem?

Well, one man says he was left facing this conundrum after a delivery did not show up. And he claims Amazon asked him to send proof that he did not receive his order. Keen to help out, he then replied with a hilarious video, which has won him heaps of praise online.

Posting to TikTok as @dadofdrama, the father delighted viewers with his funny clip, which has amassed over 900,000 likes.

In the short video, the dad can be seen walking outside of his house and looking around in confusion, before shrugging his shoulders after seeing the empty porch.

“Amazon legit asked me for proof that I never received my package so I emailed the lady this video…” claimed his onscreen caption.

In response, people were quick to praise his quick-witted response.

One person wrote: “I am hollering.” A second said: “This got me weak.” And someone else wrote: “LMFAOOOOOOO.”

Another commenter also praised the customer for his helpful attitude. “Definitely looks like someone that did NOT get their package,” she confirmed.

But a different reply suggested the video could be improved, writing: “You forgot to do the good olé noggin scratch.”

Several other viewers also claimed to have faced similar problems in the past – though they did not specify where they had purchased their products from on these occasions.

One person wrote: “I ordered a bed frame so I sent them a picture of my mattress on the floor.”

“I sent them a picture of my hand holding nothing,” said a different customer.

And another person said: “One time they sent me an empty box and as proof made me send the empty box back to them.”
