Demi Lovato Plans To Return To Hollywood Overdose Mansion After Rehab
“Demi’s security and others who work for her have been back at her house, this time moving boxes in instead of out,” a neighbor of the 26-year-old singer told Radar. “Word on the block is that she’s moving back in.”
As Radar reported, on July 24, Lovato was discovered unconscious and rushed to the hospital, where she spent weeks before checking into a rehab facility.
On September 4, the singer put her home on the market for $9.5 million.
“Her house hasn’t sold and there’s been virtually no one up here looking at it,” the neighbor revealed. “It costs a fortune to maintain her house: she has gardeners, tree trimmers, people who maintain her pool. It costs at least $60,000 a month just to keep it up.”
Radar spoke to a representative at Redfin, who said, ”The owner dropped the price by $500,000 on September 26.”
The neighbor told Radar it’s likely Lovato won’t be able to sell her house and has her fingers crossed the star’s drug-free before returning to her home.
“It’s hard to move an $8 million house in this economy so she might be stuck with it,” the neighbor said. “It’s not the house with the problem — it’s her. Hopefully she’s healthier this time around.”
