Dodgers Beat Astros In Tense Affair

Covid-19 might have pushed back the beginning of the Major League Baseball season, and fans might not be allowed in stadiums, but that has not changed the fact that many teams are extremely unhappy with the Houston Astros. One of those teams, obviously, are the Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the teams that lost out in the World Series due to the stolen signs scandal of 2017. So, it was no real surprise to see that it was nervy and tense on Tuesday night when the two teams met in Houston.

The Dodgers would prevail 5-2 in the end, coming back from a 2-0 hole four innings in. All five runs that they plated came from ‘small ball,’ as they utilized walks, singles, a sac fly, and a fielder’s choice to score five in the fifth. When the dust had settled, that was plenty to win on this night. But the thing people will remember and be talking about is the dust-up had when Joe Kelly threw behind the back of Alex Bregman. He would then taunt Carlos Correa after striking him out later in the frame, prompting the two teams to face off. Luckily, there was no fighting, but there are still three more games between the teams on the schedule, so this thing is far from over. Both teams are now 3-2 on the new season.
