Luka Doncic is already one of the best players in the NBA. Even at his young age, you can’t help but be in awe of his talents. On Saturday, he showed more of that incredible acumen for playing the game of basketball as he slayed the Milwaukee Bucks- the official #1 seed in the East- via 36 points, 19 assists, and 14 rebounds in a 136-132 OT win.
Doncic particularly caught the eye with the assists, making a couple of them that looked just downright impossible to pull off happen. One of them, coming late in the day with only a little more than a minute in overtime, was a surprise left-handed ‘nutmeg’ that he squeezed between Giannis’ legs to get to Maxi Kleiber. That allowed Doncic to record his career-high in assists and helped them in route to the victory. Antetokounmpo, who scored 34 of his and also had 14 rebounds, was amazed with his performance. With these two in the league, it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing dazzling feats on a regular basis for years to come.
