Entire New York Giants receiving core injured
Coming into this season, the New York Giants were one of the favorites in the Super Bowl conversation.
Now, five games into the season with no wins, the Giants have officially hit rock bottom.
Not only have they been unable to get a win, their entire receiving core exited early in a 27-22 loss against San Diego.
Along with Sterling Shepard, Brandon Harris and Dwayne Harris, star wideout Odell Beckham Jr exited as well due to injury in one of the most gruesome ankle injuries in recent memory.

This happened with about four minutes left to go in the game with the Giants up 27-22 at the time.
According to ESPN, Beckham did break his ankle but he will seek a second opinion.
The prognosis has not been reported for the other receivers.
Regardless of what happens, the Giants are in trouble. They just lost their most talented player and the majority of their receiving core is injured. To make things worse, the Giants did not have any run game to begin with and their offensive line is suspect at best.
The only part of their team that has been keeping them in games is their defense. The disparity between the two side of the ball, however, is too drastic. Thus, they have dropped their first five games and show no sign of turning things around.
