Any team without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving isn’t going to be as good as it would be with them. That’s the situation the Brooklyn Nets were in on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns. Oh, and they were down by as many as 24 at one stage. Thankfully, for them, James Harden was on the floor for them, propelling them to a dramatic 128-124 comeback win by draining 38 points. In the fourth quarter alone, the Nets scored 14 more points (38-24) than their opponents.

Their very first lead of the evening came with 31 seconds left to go as Harden nailed a three-pointer to hand them a 126-124 advantage. The Suns also didn’t help themselves much, failing to score for almost the entire final three minutes of the contest. The Nets also got help from the bench, getting a combined 40 from them. Joe Harris was also spectacular in the second half, scoring 15 of his 22 to help Harden and co. improve to 18-12. The Suns, who were led by Chris Paul’s 29 points, fell to 17-10 with the defeat.
