Jazz Set Record For 3’s, Crush Magic
The Utah Jazz is just extremely good at basketball. Though they might fly under the radar to most, they simply don’t deserve to be forgotten about as they so often are. After their easy 137-91 victory over a depleted Orlando Magic on Saturday, they are now 38-11. But it’s how they got there that is of such interest.
They knocked down an NBA-record 18 three-pointers in the first half alone. That’s right 18. That is 54 points from just three’s alone. That helped them race out to a 78-40 edge at halftime, allowing them to cruise in the second half. The win is their ninth consecutive now and it was their franchise-best 22nd in a row at home. They continue to pace the Western Conference, and it’s easy to see why: they are consistently excellent.
