Judge Denies Bail For Sex Cult Creep Keith Raniere: He’s ‘Worthless!’

Sex cult creep Keith Raniere was denied bail at a status hearing in a Brooklyn court on Tuesday June 12 for alleged sex-trafficking crimes, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively.

The judge denied his request to be released on a $10 million bond. The judge also balked at the request from Raniere’s lawyers that he would leave prison and be placed in a home (yet to be disclosed where) with two armed security guards and funded by third parties.

“What is the purpose of having armed guards?” The judge asked Raniere’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, adding that it sounds “absurd” that they would have guns.

“The guns are the icing on the cake,” Agnifilo awkwardly responded.

The 57-year-old has been accused of cultivating a twisted secret society within NXIVM which held ceremonies that turned victims into sex slaves. Raniere was also said to have branded its victims with his initials during the horrific initiation.

Actress Allison Mack, who’s charged with helping Raniere but please guilty and is free on $5 million bond, was also in court.

Court sources tell Radar exclusively Mack “looked awful” and showed a range of emotions as she sat in court with her attorneys before the hearing began. “Her demeanor changed from showing no emotion at all, to appearing sad, and at one time she even smirked at her lawyer and let out a laugh,” said the snitch.

Mack’s eyes were glued on Raniere as he walked out in his light green prison uniform. His hair was disheveled and he wore dark rimmed glasses, revealed the source.

The judge also pointed out that even if Raniere was allowed to be released from prison he has no family to sign off on his paperwork. “There are no family members to sign the bond,” the judge said. “How does that guarantee that your client doesn’t get on an airplane without any travel documents and fly on a private plane to a place where he gets off — no one knows where he is — and he’s gone.”

“This court finds that the government has shown the defendant is of flight risk. This bail package is insufficient.”

The heated judge also referred to Raniere as “basically worthless” due to the fact that he has “no ordinary job, no income” and “no assets” other than percentage of a Clifton Park home worth $60,000.

The government confirmed it is still “willing to engage in plea negotiations” with Mack but has yet to hear from her counsel.

Mack’s attorneys confirmed they have “no objection to the exclusion of time” and “need time” for more discovery to be brought forward “to consider.”

The next status hearing where Raniere and Mack are required to attend was set for July 25, 2018 at 2 p.m.
