Lakers Draw Even With Rockets, Middleton Helps Bucks Stay Alive

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have it all their own way on Sunday night in Game 2 against the Houston Rockets, but in the end it didn’t really matter too much. Having been dominated in the third quarter, the Lakers flipped the script on the Rockets by outscoring them by ten points in the closing period to win 117-109 and even up the series at one game apiece. Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis were instrumental in the victory, with James coming close to a triple-double thanks to 28 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.

Davis added 34 points and grabbed ten boards as well, all while James Harden splashed home 27 in the defeat for the Rockets. In the earlier game of the day, the Milwaukee Bucks managed to stay alive in their series with the Miami Heat, recording their first win in Game 4 of the clash. Giannis, who had 19 points at the time, went out in the second quarter, and the Heat, admittedly, let their foot off the gas pedal. Still yet, it required 36 points from Khris Middleton to help them get to an eventual 118-115 OT win. They still have a long way to go, however, with three more wins consecutively required to see them make a miraculous comeback.
