if you’ve ever been to the British seaside, the chances are you’ll be familiar with the seagulls, which will swoop down low, poop everywhere and quite literally steal your lunch out your hand if they fancy it.

So, you know, it’s fair to say that if you fancy a beach snack – like so many of us do – it’s at your own risk.

Unfortunately, one bloke discovered this the hard way, after he was munching on a delicious KFC wrap and attracted some rather unwanted attention.

A TikTok video, filmed by Sophie Ellen McGill, captured the moment a savagely hungry seagull came swooping down and grabbed the wrap with it’s beak, just as her friend Matthew was taking a bite.

Can someone get Sophie an Oscar please, because the timing of that film was quite simply impeccable.

The clip, which has been slow-mode for dramatic effect, is hilarious and terrifying all in equal measures, and it seems like the wonderful people of TikTok agreed.

“Omg it actually got in his mouth,” one commented, while another added: “I would simply pass away if that happened to me.”

A third quite rightly pointed out that if they hadn’t managed to capture it no film, it’s likely that no one would even believe the enormity of what happened.

“This is why they’re called sky rats,” a fourth wrote, while another tagged their friend and said: “And you wonder why I run away from these demons?!”

Quite honestly, we’d be traumatised. Sending thoughts and prayers to you, Matthew.
