Optical illusions are tricky at the best of times, but this particular one from Ukrainian artist Oleg Shupliak has left plenty of people completely mesmerised

A baffling optical illusion has left plenty of people scratching their heads, with only two per cent of people able to crack it.
The drawing, created by Ukrainian artist Oleg Shupliak, shows four women – or at least it should.
Only two per cent of the population can successfully find them all, leaving most of us completely bewildered.
The image shows a woman with thick, wavy hair and a pretty flowing dress smiling as she talks on the phone, the Daily Star reports.
While the first woman is easy to identify, the other three are trickier to find.
The second can be seen looking at the woman’s hand near her cheek.
Finding the third lady requires a more careful eye, but you’ll see her when looking at the small woman on the main lady’s right arm.
To see the third woman you need to look at the side profile, which is why it is a bit more difficult to make out at first, but you can see the nose pointing out to the left of the drawing.
The fourth and final woman should now be easier to see.
You’ll notice on the stomach of the first woman is a pair of lips and the entire image is a female itself.
On Oleg’s website, he states he drew the picture, which is of “symbolic composition”, to “improve the popular topic” of optical illusions.
