When it comes to choosing a wedding dress, really whatever works for the bride is the perfect frock.

For some, the modern-day look of ‘naked’ wedding dresses might be too much for some.

But as the Daily Star reports, they’re all the rage – with models recently parading down the catwalk in Barcelona in the saucy see-through frocks.

Now one particular frock by designer Rue De Seine has been causing quite the stir.

The floor-length lace Avril gown, which is on sale for £3,150, is extremely sheer and you’d need to wear a slip underneath it.

Otherwise, it’s likely you’ll leave your guests with raised eyebrows after flashing your underwear during the ceremony.

The dress was shared on Instagram page @weddingsunion, which shared a photo of a model trying on the distinctive frock.

Some were left thinking that the dress would be more suited to the bedroom, rather than walking down the aisle.

One wrote: “The top is gorgeous but the crack is too romantic for my taste.”

Another commented: “I would love it if it had a beige underlay. Looks like it was a full moon on their wedding day.”

A third added: “More suitable for the bedroom, not out in public. If it had an underlay, it would be beautiful, without it is just a classless and tasteless stripper dress.”

And a fourth added: “No no no … she shows everything. So distasteful.”

While some aren’t a fan of the naked wedding dress, others can’t get enough of it.

On the Rue De Seine Instagram page, plenty of blushing brides have been swooning over the frock.

One responder gushed: “Always my all-time fav gown.”

Another said: “I would get married just for the dress!”

And a third added: “Please never discontinue this dress. I’m just holding out for a ring.”
