Morant Stars But Falls Short
Ja Morant kept quiet about his future plans on Saturday after his Murray State Racers lost to the Florida State Seminoles in a decisive manner. The 90-62 loss included the NBA prospect scoring 28 points, but wasn’t nearly enough for his team to move on in Hartford against a battle-tested Seminoles squad who has had to fight with three #1 seeds all season.
The sophomore, who is likely to be a high first round pick in the NBA Draft, would not say if he would be entering the Association or not, but there is a very big chance of him doing so. The Seminoles were led in the game by forward Mfiondu Kabengele, who scored 22 points on 10 of 12 from the floor. Not too shabby at all.
