Nats’ Strasburg Might Need Surgery

The Washington Nationals’ 2020 season isn’t exactly going to plan. The defending World Series champs have started out 9-13 on the season, last in the NL East right now, albeit a cramped one, and they have just gotten word that one of their star pitchers is injured.

Stephen Strasburg, the MVP of that run just mentioned, has carpal tunnel syndrome in his pitching hand and might require surgery for it. He has an 0-1 record and an ERA over 10 so far in just two starts, with many feeling that this injury might have been playing a role.
