TikTok user shocked by ‘fake tan protector’ for bedding

For those who thought that Primark couldn’t have upped their game anymore, the popular homeware section of the budget retail store has released a product, which seems to target a gap in the market. Budding shoppers have praised the £10 item and are keen to rush to stores to get their hands on the niche product.

Taking to popular video-streaming service TikTok, a Primark shopper shared her shock upon the discovery of the store’s new ‘Fake Tan Protector Sheet’. Having posted the clip online, it has rocketed in views from keen shoppers, having surpassed a jaw-dropping 960,000 views to date.

The product description explains that the item is an “enclosed sheet to help avoid fake tan transfer onto your bed sheets”.

The one-size product features a single grey bedsheet, which will sit on top of your original sheet to rid of easy transfer from any tanning products.

“I’ve never seen this before, a fake tan protector!” The woman gushed.

Asking viewings, she questioned: “Does anyone use these?”

The video has rocketed in responses online, having surpassed 4,400 comments from fellow TikTokers who were keen to praise the product and share their interest.

It comes after the high-street chain sent fans wild with their £6 Ugg dupes, which has left shoppers raving about their “amazing” quality.

Taking to the comments to gush over the much-needed bed sheet, one person gushed: “omg I need loads lol especially with two teenage girls.”

“I needdd,” a second agreed.

A third tagged a friend and wrote: “You could do with one of these.”

Another said: “They need these on love island.”

On the other hand, a woman shared an insightful hack, suggesting: “GIRLS, just sleep inside of the spare duvet cover you never use or like! Saves the sheets every time.”
