It has been a long, long time in the making, but Paris have finally made it to the UEFA Champions League Final. They did so after a 3-0 win over German side RB Leipzig on Tuesday night in Lisbon in the semi-finals. It didn’t take them long to get going, with Marquinhos heading into the net after 13 minutes.
They were dominant, and that dominance paid off with three minutes to go in the first half as Angel di Maria doubled their advantage. Juan Bernat completed the rout in the 56th minute, ensuring a comfy win. They will now await the winner of Wednesday night’s meeting between fellow French side Lyon and tournament favorites Bayern Munich.
