Rangers Scottish Premiership fixtures: Full schedule, dates, times, predictions for the 2022/23 season in Scotland

Despite leading the Scottish Premiership beyond the first half of the season, home and away defeats against arch-rivals Celtic ultimately cost Rangers the 2021/22 title.

A campaign that will be predominantly remembered for their run to the Europa League final ended on a glorious note as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side won the Scottish Cup in dramatic fashion at Hampden Park.

Having joined following the departure of Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa in November 2021, Van Bronckhorst will have been dissatisfied to have guided Rangers to a finish four points behind champions Celtic.

Rangers Scottish Premiership projection & odds

Bookmakers expect Rangers to finish second behind Celtic again in 2022/23 after the Hoops ended four points above Rangers at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Aside from a defeat at Dundee United in their second game of the league season, Rangers were only beaten by Celtic in the Scottish Premiership in 2022/23. Winning the derby is likely to be critical to their chances of domestic glory.
