It’s been a while since Josh Gordon has been given the green light to ‘fly,’ but he has now been given it, according to various reports. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver has been suspended for the whole of the 2020 season thus far, but with two games to go has been given the opportunity to suit up and play once again.
Gordon has been with the team since early September, with the team signing him then in the hopes of him being able to play relatively soon. While that has never worked out, they now have an additional option to go along with DK Metcalf at the position. Gordon has had a torrid time in the NFL since his debut season in 2012. That was the only season in which he played in all 16 games. Last season, he featured in 11 games across two teams (Seattle and the New England Patriots). There are once more high hopes in him, and we’re all hoping he will stay on the straight and narrow this time.
