There has been a LOT of talk about the possibility of James Harden moving away from the Houston Rockets throughout this offseason, and that talk persists now. However, one thing that has not changed much is the fact that the Philadelphia 76ers appear to be the place to go if he is going to move. That’s according to the latest reports, which state that the guard’s high demand will drastically reduce the potential landing spots.
Basically, it just means that the Sixers are likely to be the only team with the resources available to meet the demand and the will to do so. The rumored deal is supposedly going to see Harden move to Philly while Ben Simmons will be heading in the opposite direction. Despite what may look like common sense, though, both camps remain committed to saying they will not be trading either star. So at this point it’s just a case of wait-and-see as we ponder whether or not the move can be completed before the season tips off in about ten days time.
