Twins Clinch Postseason Berth

The MLB Playoff field is filling up quickly, and the Minnesota Twins became the latest team to clinch a spot on Saturday as they defeated the Chicago Cubs by an 8-1 score line on the road.

Bleacher Report

Eddie Rosario, Miguel Sano, and Josh Donaldson all hit home runs in the outing, while pitcher Michael Pineda got the better of last week’s no-hitter-throwing Alec Mills on the mound. The win improved the Twins’ record to 32-22 and confirmed their second consecutive postseason trip. They are three games off of the White Sox in the AL Central, so they will have aspirations of doing a bit more.
