USFL playoff bracket 2022: Full schedule, TV channels, scores for semifinals, championship game

The 2022 USFL season has come to a close, and that means it’s time for the playoffs. Four of the spring start-up’s eight teams will compete for the new USFL’s inaugural title, and the winner will be crowned at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

The lead-up to the USFL postseason wasn’t as dramatic as the league might have hoped. All four playoff spots were clinched by Week 9, and a couple of teams wrapped up postseason berths by Week 7.

The relative weakness of the Pittsburgh Maulers, Michigan Panthers and Houston Gamblers made it a five-team postseason race for four spots. In the end, the Tampa Bay Bandits were the last team eliminated, which set up the two USFL semifinal matchups.

The New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars, Birmingham Stallions and New Orleans Breakers are the four teams set to do battle in Canton. The Generals and Stallions each have only one loss and are the favorites to win the title. However, given that the No. 1 seed doesn’t have a true home-field advantage, the title is anyone’s for the taking.

Here’s everything you need to know about the USFL playoff bracket as the postseason begins.
