A crew member almost lost his life in a terrifying accident, a season 6 preview video for the Bravo reality show Below Deck reveals.

All hell broke loose after the crew sailed to Tahiti, as a deckhand accidentally flew overboard and wailed for help, as the clip shows.

The man’s leg got caught in some tight black rope and it pulled him over the ship.

“Man overboard!” someone screamed over the radio transceiver, as deckhands rushed to help untangle him, saving his life.

It shows that although this season’s Below Deck takes place around Tahiti’s serene black sand beaches instead of the seas of the Caribbean, there is still plenty of drama!

Captain Lee Rosbach was left devastated by the near-fatal accident that could have resulted in a crew member’s death.

The usually stoic veteran captain broke down on camera and got teary-eyed, telling producers, “I need a minute.”

Rosbach underwent surgery last year.

The captain and his controversial chief stewardess, Kate Chastain, are reportedly the only returning Below Deck cast members this season.

Otherwise, viewers will see a whole new crew—but they can look forward to the reality TV hookups and feuds they’ve come to expect. As Radar has reported, the cast in the past has suffered huge scandals.

But this time around, they almost lose a man overboard and as Chastain pointed out ominously in the preview, “We are not in the Caribbean anymore.”

Below Deck premieres October 2 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
