Pekingese Wasabi won last year’s Westminster Dog Show. Wasabi, grandson of the 2012 Westminster Best in Show winner, strutted his way to an impressive performance at Lyndhurst Estate, out-dueling more than 2,500 other dogs to secure victory.

His owner-handler was David Fitzpatrick.

While not the most profitable venture, it does cost owners a little dough to compete in the Westminster Dog Show. According to a Yahoo Finance report, the Westminster Dog Show entry fee is $100.

However, it’s going to cost you a lot more to make sure your dog is ready for the show; sometimes even as much as $250,000. 

How much is a ticket to the Westminster Dog Show?

After being held without spectators due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, fans will be allowed back into Lyndhurst Estate to watch their favorite dogs take part in the 2022 Westminster Dog Show.

Tickets run at $12.50 for children 5 and over and $25 for adults during preliminaries. That price jumps up to $15 and $30, respectively, during the agility finals.

Children under the age of four get in for free.

Families planning on driving to the event should be prepared to shell out a little dough for parking. Daytime parking at the event costs $15 per car.
