2022 PFL 9 date, time, odds & location for the PFL Playoffs featuring Kayla Harrison

The PFL Playoffs continue to tour through the U.K., as the Professional Fighters League heads to London on August 20. Inside the Copper Box Arena, the women’s lightweight and men’s featherweight divisions are in action, with Kayla Harrison leading the charge. 

Harrison faces off against Martina Jindrova. The winner of that fight will face the winner of Larissa Pacheco vs. Olena Kolesnyk in the PFL Finals. 

A two-time Olympic gold medalist, Harrison has been a dominant figure with the PFL. A two-time PFL champion, Harrison is 2-0 this year. She beat Marina Mokhnatkina and Kaitlin Young with ease.

Jindrova made her pro debut in 2018. Competing in the PFL Challenger Series in March, Jindrova is 3-0 with the PFL. Her last fight was a win over Zamzagul Fayzallanova in July. 

Pacheco made her pro debut in 2012 and joined the PFL in 2019. She is on a four-fight win streak. In July, Pacheco beat Genah Fabian via TKO. Looking at a potential future matchup, Pacheco is 0-2 against Harrison. Kolesnyk made her pro debut in 2014. Joining the PFL in 2021, she is 2-0 this season. Her last fight was a unanimous decision win over Vanessa Melo in July. 

On the men’s side, Chris Wade faces off against Brendan Loughnane. The winner of that fight faces off against the winner of Ryoji Kudo vs. Bubba Jenkins in the PFL Finals.

Wade joined the PFL in 2018 and is 10-3 with the promotion. After missing the PFL Finals twice, Wade made it to the finals in 2021 but lost against Movlid Khaybulaev. He is 2-0 this year, his last fight a TKO win over Kyle Bochniak in June. Loughnane is a former Dana White’s Contender Series participant. He joined the PFL in 2019 and is 6-1 with the promotion. He is 2-0 this year, his last fight a win over Aho Huskic in June. 

Kudo previously fought with ONE. He joined the PFL this year and is 1-2 with the promotion. His last fight was a KO win over Alejandro Flores in June. Jenkins, a former NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion, made his pro debut in 2011. The former Brave CF featherweight champion is 4-1 in PFL action. Jenkins is on a two-fight win streak, winning both fights in 2022 via unanimous decision.

  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET | 6 p.m. BST
  • Main card: 2 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. BST
  • Main event: 4 p.m. ET | 9 p.m. BST (approximately)
  • Post-fight Qualifiers: 5 p.m. ET | 10 p.m. BST (approximately)

The 2022 PFL playoffs continue on Aug. 20. The event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET | 6 p.m. BST with the prelims followed by the main card at 2 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. BST. Kayla Harrison and Martina Jindrova should make their way to the cage before 4 p.m. ET | 9 p.m. BST, depending on pacing and how long the other playoff bouts last. 

After that, there will be post-event qualifying matches.

In the United States, the prelims of PFL 9 will begin on ESPN+. The main card will air on ESPN and ESPN+.

Per Best Fight Odds, Kayla Harrison is the -4000 favorite, while Martina Jindrova is the +1600 underdog. Larissa Pacheco is the -700 favorite, while Olena Kolesnyk is the +450 underdog. 

Chris Wade is the -260 favorite, while Brendan Loughnane is the +200 underdog. Bubba Jenkins is the -325 favorite, while Ryoji Kudo is the +250 underdog.
