76ers vs. Nets live score, highlights: Ben Simmons returns to Philly for first time since trade

All eyes will be on Ben Simmons as he makes his long-awaited return to Philadelphia, nine months since being traded to Brooklyn.

After a slow start to the season, Simmons has been back in form across the Nets’ last three games, coming off a season-best 22-point performance against the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday night, with the Aussie expecting a frosty reception from the home fans.

“Come on now, I know what’s coming. It’s a part of the game,” Simmons said.

“One thing about Philly fans (is) they’re incredible. They’re die-hard Philly — everything Philly, whatever it is. I respect that about the city — it’s a sports town.”

The 76ers have won three of their past four games, however, they will be without Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and James Harden for tonight’s contest.
