Green Bay and Chicago are featured in prime time for a Saturday matchup in Week 16 that could end up determining the NFC North champion.
The Bears currently hold the lead in the division at 10-4 with the Packers on their tail at 9-4-1, but already holding a victory over Chicago. This is almost a must-win for the Bears if they want to take home their first division title since 2018 and only the franchise’s second since 2010.

The Packers are reeling after taking what feels like a double loss in Week 15 by falling to the Denver Broncos 34-26 on the road. They also lost All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons for the remainder of the year with a torn ACL. After beating Chicago just two weeks ago in Green Bay, the Packers have that on their side, but cannot afford a loss as the No. 7 seed in the NFC with Detroit on their heels.
Packers-Bears start time: 8:20 p.m. ET

With Jordan love being evaluated for a potential concussion, backup Malik Willis moved the Packers offense into the red zone.
But as they’ve done on two previous trips to the red zone, they stalled out when they got their. But its still better than what the scoreless Bears have managed. Green Bay takes a 6-0 lead with 1:41 remaining in the first half.

Jordan Love is being evaluated for a concussion. His return is questionable.

Jordan Love just took a big hit on a sack and was slow to get up. He took a shot to the helmet from Austin Booker that drew a roughing the passer flag and remained down on the ground after the hit.
It’s not immediately clear if Love suffered an injury of significance. He eventually jogged to the sideline medical tent, and backup Malik Willis took over at quarterback for the Packers. Love then left the tent and walked to the locker room without his helmet.
It looks like Willis will remain in the game for the remainder of this drive at a minimum.

A false start turned a third-and-8 into a third-and-13 for the Bears, and we have our first punt of the game.
Chicago’s still scoreless, and the Packers have the ball back and a 3-0 lead with 9:34 remaining in the second quarter.

After three combined drives into the red zone, we finally have a score. But still no touchdown.
The Packers converted a 13-play, 70-yard drive into a 26-yard field goal by Brandon McManus. After failed fourth-and-goal efforts from each team to start the game, the Packers opted for the easy kick and 3-0 lead early in the second quarter.

Facing a fourth-and-1 near the goal line, Ben Johnson opted for some trickery.
Running back Kyle Monangai was in the backfield, and tight end Cole Kmet was up at the line of scrimmage. While Kmet made a check, the ball was snapped, except it was too high for Monangai.
The rookie hopped on it, but the Bears turned the ball over on downs anyway.

Chicago is marching downfield following Green Bay’s turnover on downs.
Caleb Williams is off to a hot start. He fired a 15-yard pass over the middle to Jahdae Walker. Shortly after that, he rolled out of the pocket and ripped a throw to Olamide Zaccheaus that went for a 27-yard catch and run.

A strong throw from Jordan Love to Romeo Doubs moved the chains on third-and-9 and escorted the Packers to the red zone.
It was there, though, that Green Bay came up short. Love went back to Doubs on third-and-7, however, he was one yard shy of the marker.
The Packers rolled the dice on fourth-and-1, but Love’s pass intended for Christian Watson fell incomplete. C.J. Gardner-Johnson had excellent coverage on the play. Turnover on downs.

Jordan Love was nearly picked less than two minutes into the game. Instead, the Packers picked up a first down on third-and-1, avoiding an immediate three-and-out, thanks to a roughing the passer penalty on Bears defensive lineman Austin Booker.

Packers star running back Josh Jacobs has been dealing with a knee injury but is officially active for Week 16 as the Green Bay Packers see the potential to clinch a playoff spot this week. He totaled just 12 carries in last week’s loss to the Broncos, gaining 73 yards and a score on the ground.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Jacobs was on crutches Monday coming off the loss and didn’t practice throughout the week. It seems reasonable that he could be limited in this contest, with RBs Emmanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks presumably the next men up in the case of any limitations for Jacobs.

The Chicago Bears will be without a couple of key contributors at wide receiver in Week 16.
Most notable is the absence of second-year WR Rome Odunze, missing yet another game with a foot injury. After looking poised for a return in Week 15, Odunze was dubbed a late scratch after aggravating the injury ahead of the game. Odunze had been off to a hot start in 2025 with 296 receiving yards and five touchdowns through the first four games of the season, but his production has since slowed down.
They’ll also be without rookie Luther Burden III, coming off a strong performance last week, reeling in six of seven targets for 84 yards — the second-highest receiving yard total of his rookie season thus far.
Expect a big role for veteran DJ Moore, coming off a 4-69-2 outing in Week 15, as well as contributions from first-round tight end Colston Loveland working in at receiver.
