A shocking medical incident in Bihar, India, has raised serious concerns after a 15-year-old teenager, Krishna Kumar, died following a surgery conducted by a supposed doctor who allegedly made the surgery guided by YouTube videos. The incident took place in the Saran district when Krishna Kumar was brought to a local clinic due to severe vomiting and intense abdominal pain. Desperate to find quick relief, Krishna’s family trusted Ajit Kumar Puri, the director of the clinic. However, they were unsure whether Puri was an actual licensed doctor. “We believe he was a fraud pretending to be a doctor,” said relatives, as reported by local outlets such as NDTV.
Puri quickly decided that surgery was required to remove gallstones. Without the family’s full consent or knowledge of his credentials, he proceeded with the operation. Disturbingly, witnesses claimed that Puri was watching YouTube videos throughout the procedure, guiding himself through what can only be described as a “YouTube-guided surgery.”
From desperation to disaster
The surgery only worsened Krishna’s condition. He began experiencing more severe abdominal pain, prompting his family to confront Puri. As the situation spiraled out of control, the so-called doctor opted to rush Krishna to a nearby hospital in Patna. Sadly, the boy never made it.
Krishna’s condition deteriorated rapidly on the way, and despite efforts to revive him, he passed away before reaching the hospital. In a chilling twist, Puri and his staff abandoned Krishna’s body on the steps of the clinic before fleeing the scene, according to the teen’s grandfather, as reported by Hindustan Times.
