Oasis Reveals ‘Live ’27’ Global Tour for 2027 with New Destinations

Date:

Following months of social media teasing and interviews, Oasis has officially announced its ‘Live ’27’ global tour for 2027. The iconic Manchester rock band will embark on a 38-show trek across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, with advance fan registration required for ticket access. This extensive series of performances builds on the significant success of their highly anticipated 2025 reunion.

The tour is scheduled to commence in Glasgow, U.K., with five nights at Celtic Park in May 2027, according to Rolling Stone. It will conclude in September with four shows at Knebworth Park, a U.K. venue where Oasis famously performed in 1996, an event documented in Jake Scott’s 2021 film. The U.S. leg includes three nights each at Boston’s Gillette Stadium and Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium in August, marking the band’s initial reunion performances in these cities.

A press release highlighted that, with the exception of homecoming shows in Manchester, the ‘Oasis Reveals’ tour will visit an entirely new array of locations compared to their ‘Live ’25’ tour. Richard Ashcroft is confirmed to open all dates across the tour, offering support for the rock legends.

Details of the ‘Live ’27’ Tour and Ticketing

The ‘Live ’27’ tour runs from May to September 2027, encompassing major European cities such as Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome. In the U.K., beyond Glasgow and Knebworth, the band is set to play 11 dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in June, as reported by The Independent. A short trailer accompanying the announcement blended atmospheric, nostalgic footage from the band’s peak and reunion tours before revealing the dates to the tune of ‘Morning Glory?’, Rolling Stone stated.

To obtain tickets, fans must register in advance via the band’s official website. The registration deadline is Thursday, September 17, at 11 a.m. ET (Rolling Stone), or 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 8pm PT / 11am ET (The Independent). Successful registrants will receive a unique, non-transferable code to access an assigned on-sale window. On-sale dates for U.S. cities will vary, beginning on Friday, September 25.

In a statement, the band expressed their excitement, declaring, ‘START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!’ They added that ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has deemed itself ‘fit for purpose’ once more to ‘lift the spirits of the people,’ inviting fans to ‘Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.’

Context and Impact of the Oasis Reunion

While primarily a music event, the global nature of this ‘Oasis Reveals’ tour underscores the significant economic impact of major international concert series. Such tours drive substantial revenue through ticket sales, merchandise, and local tourism, benefiting hospitality sectors in host cities across multiple continents. The reported $400 million revenue from their 2025 tour suggests the scale of financial activity a global rock tour can generate, affecting local economies and potentially influencing travel patterns for international fans.

The announcement followed widespread speculation, fueled by social media hints and a spectacular drone display in Manchester last week, which showed the band’s logo along with the date ’14/09/26′ and ‘4pm BST,’ according to The Independent. The enormous success of their 2025 reunion, which saw tickets sell out in minutes, led to forecasts of future tours even before the initial run concluded.

The Independent reported that the 2025 tour generated over $400 million in revenue, contributing to Noel and Liam Gallagher’s combined net worth of $375 million and their inclusion on the Sunday Times Rich List. Mark Beaumont’s five-star review of the 2025 Cardiff show described it as a comeback of ‘momentous scale.’ This latest tour announcement coincides with the recent premiere of the documentary film ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger,’ which chronicles their reunion and features behind-the-scenes footage and concert clips, directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and created by Steven Knight.

Given the immense demand for tickets to Oasis’s previous reunion shows, the upcoming registration and on-sale periods will be closely watched as a gauge of the band’s enduring global appeal. Further announcements regarding additional dates or specific tour details could emerge if initial ticket sales replicate the rapid sell-outs of the 2025 tour.
