Best Buy Employee Sexually Harassed at Work By Swingers: Part One

  • ‘I felt completely violated.’

The Best Buy employee stated that, “Two Saturdays ago, this couple asked me if I’d be interested in coming home with them.” He shared his story in a video on TikTok, with a voice-over.

Initially, the couple asked Dallas Ponzo to help them locate a specific GPS tracker sold within the store. But things took a turn as soon as the couple noticed a pineapple plushie sitting on the counter.

If you didn’t already know, an upside-down pineapple can be seen as a symbol among swingers. Dallas said that one of them asked if that’s why the pineapple was displayed in the store.

He stated that other people had made some of the same hokes about the toy but that it was just something that was left there by a former customer six months prior. The Best Buy employee stated that he and his fellow employees are not swingers.

“He looks back over at me and says, ‘Oh, well, you know I was just asking because I was in, uh, that industry for about 15 years,’” Dallas recalled. “It made me kind of uncomfortable, and I didn’t really know how to respond, so all I said was, ‘Damn, that’s almost as long as I’ve been alive on the planet.’”

Apparently clarifying that he’s only about 23 just led to the man telling his wife that he’s “old enough and he’s handsome.”

“At that point, I felt completely violated,” Dallas, Best Buy employee, admitted.

He dropped the subject  as he walked the customers to the GPS item they wanted help locating. He asked them if they needed “anything else” and they made it clear that anything else they wanted from him was that of a sexual nature.
