Brazil World Cup fixtures 2022: Complete schedule, match kickoff times, dates for all Selecao games in Qatar

Brazil are strongly tipped to be the team to beat at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as the Selecao go in search of a record-extending sixth world title.

Despite not having won the World Cup since Ronaldo inspired them to glory back in 2002, Brazil are ranked No.1 in the world by FIFA.

Veteran coach Tite has one of the most complete squads on the planet, with Alisson, Ederson, Marquinhos, Fabinho, Casemiro, Neymar and Vinicius Jr. among their list of global stars.

A two-decade wait for the game’s biggest prize has increased the pressure on Brazil to win the World Cup, and despite failing to win the Copa America in 2021, the feeling is that this is their best chance in a long time to end their drought.

Brazil 2022 World Cup schedule

Brazil will next face Croatia in the quarterfinals after smashing South Korea 4-1 in the Round of 16.

Tite’s side opened their campaign in Qatar with a confident 2-0 win over Serbia before scraping past Switzerland 1-0.

With knockout round qualification already secured, Brazil rested players against Cameroon, who took full advantage to claim a late 1-0 win.

Despite that defeat, Brazil still finished top of their group on goal difference and as a result got to face South Korea rather than Portugal in the Round of 16. Tite’s side scored four goals in the first-half against their Asian opponents as they eased into the quarterfinals.

Croatia now await on Friday, December 9 after they beat Japan on penalties after their game ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.
