A mum who likes to spoil her child is spending £2,500 on Christmas presents for her son this year – even though he’s still a toddler. Mum Kasey Akram, 33, loves to lavish Jareem Akram, two, with gifts including Gucci shoes and a £1,000 solid gold dummy.
The 33-year-old has splashed out on all sorts for her son, who she bathes in milk and honey, including designer gear and trips to far-flung places.
The self-described full-time mum says she wants only the best for her little lad and no gift is too big. This year, she’s hoping to buy him 100 presents for Christmas – and has been saving for the festive haul since May. Presents this year include a Burberry two-piece, a trip to the Canary Islands, a stay in a winter lodge and a ride-on train.

What do you think about the lavish Christmas gifts? Let us know in the comments…
Kasey, from Sheffield, said: “Things are expensive but I start getting presents in May. I do it bit by bit. I have a saving system.
“I’m spending about £2,500 in total. I’m spending about £1,000 and his dad is doing the rest.

“His dad says, ‘Why are you buying this stuff in May?’ and I say, ‘You’ve got to think ahead because times are hard’.
“I’m hoping he’s going to have 100 presents to open on the day – I like the floor filled.”
Kasey says she told her son’s dad, who is not being named, not to buy her anything for her birthday – but to put it towards Christmas for her son instead.
She previously kicked him out of the family home because he worked night shifts and was disturbing the infant’s sleep.

And she’s even going all out on decorations for Jareem, including a seven-foot Christmas tree.
Kasey, who is on benefits, is also splashing out on a ‘Woodland Lodge’ experience at Alton Towers for the family.
She said that she spreads the cost of the purchases out over a year, spending around £1,000 herself and the rest is made up by Jareem’s dad.
Other big-ticket purchases include a family visit to ‘Santa’s Sleepover’ for £475, and designer threads including a Burberry tracksuit for a high-fashion look over the festive period coming in at £350.
He’ll also be getting a six-foot dinosaur, a gold bracelet, an ET plus toy, a new bike, pony riding lessons, and a robotic cat.
Kasey said: “A lot of my family don’t celebrate Christmas so it’s just for Jareem really.

“He’s got 33 stocking fillers and then I’ve got plenty of presents.
“He said he wanted a dolphin which I can’t buy, so instead I’m taking him to the Canary Islands in the summer – we’re going to a water park where you can see dolphins.”
“It’s about £1,300 and it’s his main present and his first holiday – he’ll be two-and-half when we go.
“I want to get him something to wear for Christmas Day or Eve – I like Burberry so I want to get him a Burberry two-piece.
“He wants a ride-on train that you sit on and ride around – you stick the track together and then ride around on it.

“I thought I’d put it around the Christmas tree and put it up on the night before, I’m also trying to get a snow machine.
“Jareem has a Christmas tree, it’s a little three-foot one and then he’s going to have a six-foot one is his bedroom and I’m ordering a seven-foot one for the living room.
“When he wakes up, he’ll have his presents under there and then more downstairs.
“We’re going to go to Santa’s Sleepover at Alton Towers – it’s like Lapland, they make it snow and you get a letter and a gift from Santa.”

However, Kasey says she also wants Jareem to know the value of money and how fortunate he is.
So she’s taking him out to donate gifts to those struggling in her area.
Kasey said: “We give out scarves, socks, soaps, we wrap the empty shoe boxes up and give them out to the homeless people outside the shops.
“He’s also picked a present to give away to Cash for Kids – they give a present to local hostels and charities, to help people on low incomes get gifts.
“We do what we do every year where we make Christmas cupcakes and mice pies and make Christmas boxes and take them around.
“We take a sack and Jareem in his pram – he can’t be thinking you don’t give back.”
Kasey previously told how she splashed out on designer gear for Jareem, including gold Versace jewellery, a solid gold dummy, and Kenzo and DKNY threads.
The mum revealed she regularly went without so she could pamper her son – and said she even bathed him in milk and honey.
