CFL playoffs 2022: Matchups, schedule, odds for 109th Grey Cup

It’s November and the CFL playoffs are about to get underway as the hunt for the Grey Cup begins this upcoming weekend. 

The postseason field is set with the top three clubs in the West and East divisions locked in and set to begin their march to Grey Cup glory.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts secured the top seed in their respective divisions and a bye to the division finals. Winnipeg is 15-3 entering the playoffs while Toronto is 11-7. 

In the West, the BC Lions and Calgary Stampeders have clinched postseason spots with each holding records of 12-6. In the East, the Montreal Alouettes (9-9) and Hamilton Tiger-Cats (8-10) will be competing in the division semifinals.

When do the 2022 CFL playoffs start?

The 2022 CFL playoffs begin Sunday, Nov. 6, with the division semifinals. 

The division finals will take place the following week on Sunday, Nov. 13. The Grey Cup will be played on Sunday, Nov. 20. 

What channel are the 2022 CFL playoffs on?

TSN will continue its coverage of the CFL season into the playoffs. The network is the home of every postseason game. 

Viewers in the United States will be able to watch the CFL playoffs on ESPN2 or ESPNews or stream the contests on ESPN+.

Where is the 2022 Grey Cup taking place?

The 109th Grey Cup will be played in Saskatchewan. Mosaic Stadium in Regina will be the site for this year’s CFL championship game. 

Regina was supposed to host the 2020 Grey Cup, but the game (and season) was canceled because of COVID-19. It was agreed that the city would host the 2022 championship.
