Chiefs vs. Chargers live streams: How to watch NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’ game online without cable

Getting a sense of déjà vu? There’s a good reason for that.

For the second weekend in a row, the Chargers are on “Sunday Night Football” facing a team clad in red. This time, instead of the 49ers, it will be the division-rival Chiefs, who they faced on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 2 of the season.

There’s a reason these teams are often in prime time. They have delivered frequent classics in showdowns between Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes. And with the Chargers now a spot back of the last playoff spot and their AFC West hopes seemingly contingent on a win at home against Kansas City, this should be a matchup of two determined teams.

Just how important is this game for the Chargers? According to FiveThirtyEight, Los Angeles has a 62 percent chance of making the playoffs and an 11 percent chance of winning the west if it moves to 7-4 with a win. A loss, however, drops the playoff chances to 30 percent and the division win odds to 0.1 percent. A Chiefs win gives Kansas City a greater than 99 percent chance of winning the division, per the site.
