Buffalo defensive back Dane Jackson exited Monday night’s Bills-Titans matchup in an ambulance, but all signs point to avoiding major injury.
In the second quarter of the “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Titans and Bills, Jackson took a hit from teammate Tremaine Edmunds, which bent his head and neck backwards at a very gruesome angle.
Jackson would lay on the ground for several minutes before being loaded into an ambulance on the field in Buffalo.

Jackson was seen moving his arms and legs following the hit, which turned out to be a potentially good sign. ESPN sideline reporters didn’t have an immediate update on Jackson as he exited the game, but on Tuesday, more good news emerged.

In the second quarter of the “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Bills and Titans, Jackson was hit by teammate Tremaine Edmunds. The hit that forced the cornerback out of the game bent his head and neck back at an awkward angle. He would be loaded onto an ambulance.
Jackson spent some time in the hospital, but according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, he’s already home and recovering after walking out last night. Garafolo says that Jackson avoided a major injury.

Following the game, head coach Sean McDermott said that Jackson had full movement in his extremities, the first positive sign.

The Bills announced soon after his exit that he would be taken to a local medical facility to evaluate whether or not Jackson had a neck injury, and would undergo tests including a CT Scan and an X-ray.
CB Dane Jackson has been taken to ECMC for evaluation of a neck injury. He will be getting a CT scan and an x-ray. Jackson has full movement in extremities.

Jackson was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Bills, and played in all 17 games for Buffalo in 2021.
