Devin Haney vs. George Kambosos 2 live fight updates, results, highlights from 2022 boxing rematch

Can George Kambosos Jr. regain gold? Can Devin Haney stay unbeaten atop the lightweight division?

In his backyard of Australia inside Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Kambosos faces Haney once again for the undisputed lightweight titles on October 15.

Kambosos, 29, beat Teofimo Lopez to become WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight champion. He then lost the belts against WBC champion Devin Haney via unanimous decision. Kambosos was the underdog in that fight and entering the rematch, not much has changed. Nevertheless, Kambosos is confident he can defy the odds and walk out with a win.

“It’s going to be sweeter this time, getting them back and becoming a two-time undisputed champion,” Kambosos told The Sydney Morning Herald. “When someone beats me once in anything, it could be playing chess, it could be playing marbles, I’m going to come back 100 times and make sure I avenge that loss. That’s just the competitive nature in who I am. That’s why I know I will be champion again.”
