Domino’s superfan gets logo tattooed on his thigh – but it didn’t earn him free pizza

A Domino’s superfan decided to get the pizza chain’s logo tattooed on his thigh to signify his love for the takeaway, but it hasn’t been enough to blag him a free pizza so far

A Domino’s superfan had the chain’s logo tattooed on his thigh while on holiday, but it sadly hasn’t resulted in any free pizza. Zak Tucker, 26, visited a tattoo shop while staying with his sister and his girlfriend in Palma Nova, Spain, and decided to get himself a lasting souvenir.

Upon the suggestion of his girlfriend Elisha Marrison, 23, Zak decided to get a permanent tribute to his favourite takeaway treat, with the professional decorator having spent £1,000 on Domino’s pizzas in 2021 alone. Zak, who has says he orders Domino’s up to ten times each month, splurged £87 on his new body art, paying approximately four times the price of a Domino’s average medium pizza.

Zak, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, said: “We were on holiday in Palma Nova and we saw this tattoo place. After giving it a quick Google, we saw it was a really good tattooist.

“So while my sister got a tattoo done, I stood there and decided I’d get one myself. I was umming and aahing about what to get done. It was my girlfriend who said ‘get something related to pizza, you love pizza, you live off pizza. You spend thousands on Domino’s’.”

Hoping to bag himself a free slice, Zak got one of his pals to share a pic of his new tat online, but he hasn’t yet been offered anything by the chain.

Zak added: “How much Domino’s I order depends on how things are going – if it’s going alright, I tend not to have as much. Domino’s is a comfort food, a pepperoni pizza is my go-to order.

“I reckon I’d probably have ordered Dominos between six and ten times a month. Domino’s is my go-to place for pizza. I worked out that I’d spent around £1,000 on it last year.”

A Domino’s spokesman said: “We love to see our customers’ epic displays of loyalty, from cries of passion about our pepperoni through to great guzzlers of our Garlic and Herb dip – there really are some loyal Domino’s fans out there who we’re lucky to have.

“Whilst we can’t condone such permanent displays of fandom, we love Zak’s enthusiasm!”
