The competitive schoolgirl was left horrified after realising her older sister was losing her baby teeth faster than she was – and that as a result, that meant she was born earlier

A ‘dramatic’ four-year-old was left astounded after realising that her older sister was indeed born before her as she realised she was losing her baby teeth faster. The unimpressed Piper Bates was horrified when six-year-old Winnie and her friend from school both lost their two front teeth at the same time, making her feel left out.
Piper was also unimpressed that her sister ‘came out of their mum’s vagina first’, prompting mum Dani Bates to share the video on Facebook where it attracted plenty of attention from social media users who found it equally hilarious, receiving almost two million likes on the platform.

Dani, from Salt Lake City, Utah, US, said: “Winne has lost six teeth and Piper is very jealous that her big sister’s friend looks just like her now with her missing teeth and she’s left out.
“Piper loves to copy her big sister and do anything her big sister does. They’re very close, they’re closer than the average sisters. They love wearing matching outfits.
“Piper saw they’d both lost their front teeth and she was devastated that they get to be twins now and she doesn’t. She talked about Winne coming out of mum’s vagina first so I tried to validate her by saying that that’s the correct terminology while being in tears from laughing.
“I teach them the correct terminology for their body parts. It makes really awkward situations when she says something about a vulva or a penis and I have to tell her to wait until we get home.
“She hasn’t had the birds and the bees talk but she knows where she comes from. Her face is so cute when she cries. I started taking the video and it got more and more hilarious the longer it went on.”
Dani said Piper is more ‘dramatic’ and ’emotional’ than the average four-year-old, and confirmed when the camera stopped rolling, big sister Winnie rushed to comfort her. Dani says the trio have become incredibly close after losing husband Denny to suicide three years ago.
Dani said: “We’ve become very close through trauma and have bonded as a little girl gang. Most four-year-olds are dramatic but she has the extra ability to feel things very strongly.
“Winnie couldn’t stop laughing. She thought it was so cute and she’s so good at comforting her little sister.
“I wanted to take a video to remember it so one day I can look back and say ‘oh my God, remember when you were four and you were crying like this’.
“Everyone loved it. It was the most positive reaction. People said I did a good job comforting her, validating her feelings and teaching her the correct terminology and people couldn’t stop laughing at how cute she was.”
