Eagles’ A.J. Brown scores on insane double move vs. Titans that must be seen to be believed

A.J. Brown has had an outstanding season for the Eagles this year after being traded by the Titans on draft day. But against the Titans on Sunday, he’s kicked things up a notch.

Brown scored against Tennessee on a filthy out-and-up double move that left cornerback Kristian Fulton on the grass.

The play came one play after Brown seemed to score a 41-yard touchdown that was ruled incomplete after review, as he had a toe on the sideline. Brown closed the deal without a reprieve for the Titans defense on the very next play.

Brown now has 58 catches for 926 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 11 touchdowns this year for Tennessee.

For whatever it’s worth, Brown didn’t appear to have any hard feelings towards Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, whom he gave a big hug before the game.

Later in the game, Brown built upon his huge day by just wrestling a ball away from the Titans’ Tre Avery on a perfectly-placed pass from Jalen Hurts.

The catch was Browns’ fifth for 95 yards and, of course, his second TD of the day.

Earlier in the week, Fulton had a lot of praise for Brown.

“He probably has a chip on his shoulder,” Fulton told reporters. “But I’m not letting that play into my game. I’m gonna play my game. I don’t really care how he feels going into the game. I’m sure he brings his best every week, he’s one of the top receivers in the league.”

As for Brown, he seems more than content with his situation.

“Me personally, I feel like I won,” Brown said, according to Sports Illustrated. “I say that because I changed my family’s life forever. That’s the goal, especially growing up where I’m from. Of course, I wanted to do great, and it comes out of great things. But that’s the reason we play the game.”

Fulton saw just how good Brown is early on Sunday after Brown’s outstanding route. Although Brown probably is coming into this game with a chip on his shoulder, he’s so good normally it might be more accurate to say this is just the kind of player he is.
