Is Deebo Samuel playing Week 13?

UPDATE: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Samuel “plans to play” against Miami.

Samuel (quad) was officially listed as “questionable” on the 49ers’ final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. The star receiver was a limited participant at practice on Wednesday and Friday but did not practice on Thursday. Samuel has a deep thigh bruise, and it hasn’t healed as quickly as San Francisco had hoped, according to Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area.

It seems as if Samuel will be a game-time decision heading into Sunday’s 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. He was on the injury report last week for a hamstring injury but ended up playing against the Saints. The Dolphins’ defense has played better lately but still allows the 11th-most passing yards per game. Samuel is a must-start if he’s active, but if he’s out, look for Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle to see more targets. It’s also possible that Jauan Jennings is more involved, making him a sneaky flex play in deeper leagues.

Is Ja’Marr Chase playing Week 13?

UPDATE: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Chase is expected to play against Kansas City.

Chase (hip) was officially listed as “questionable” to play on Sunday against the Chiefs. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Friday that he’s “optimistic” Chase will play Sunday, according to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic.

The second-year wide receiver practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week, putting him on track to suit up for the first time since Week 7 against the Falcons. The 22-year-old wide receiver should be viewed as a WR1 against a Chiefs’ defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season. If Chase is a surprise scratch, Tee Higgins gets a bump up, and Tyler Body would also likely see more targets and be a worthwhile WR3.

Is Jerry Jeudy playing Week 13?

UPDATE: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Jeudy is expected to play barring any setbacks in warmups.

UPDATE 2: Jeudy is officially ACTIVE.

Jeudy (ankle) managed to get in a limited practice session on Friday and is officially listed as “questionable” ahead of the Broncos’ Week 13 matchup against the Ravens.

The young wideout has missed the last two games due to the lower-body injury he suffered in Week 10 against the Titans. If Jeudy can play Sunday, he should be viewed as a low-tier WR2 against a Ravens’ defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to WRs. The Broncos could also be without Courtland Sutton (illness), which would make Jeudy’s ceiling higher if he were to play. However, if Jeudy is out for the third consecutive week, owners should pivot to Kendall Hinton as a flex option.

Is Courtland Sutton playing Week 13?

UPDATE: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Sutton is expected to play against Baltimore.

UPDATE 2: Sutton is officially ACTIVE.

Along with Jeudy, Sutton (illness) is also listed as “questionable” to play on Sunday against the Ravens. The veteran wide receiver did not practice the entire week, putting a question mark around his availability.

If Sutton and Jeudy are out for Sunday, fantasy owners will have to turn to Kendall Hinton and rookie tight end Greg Dulcich, who would be Russell Wilson’s top receiving options. Montrell Washington would also be involved but be too risky to trust in season-long leagues. As long as Sutton is active, though, he’s at least a flex in the favorable matchup.

Is Jameson Willams playing Week 13?

UPDATE: Williams was activated from the IR on Saturday afternoon, which paves the way for him to make his season debut on Sunday against Jacksonville.

UPDATE 2: Williams is officially ACTIVE.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said on Friday that he hasn’t decided on Williams (torn ACL) for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, according to NFL Network’s James Palmer.

The rookie wide receiver has yet to play in an NFL game after suffering a torn ACL in last season’s National Championship game. Williams is still on injured reserve, but all signs point to the rookie playing sometime this season for Detroit. Earlier in the week, Campbell was asked about Williams playing in Week 13 and said, “it would take a lot.” If the Lions activate Williams off injured reserve, fantasy owners should not expect much from him, as he hasn’t played football in almost a year. He has some deep-league flex appeal given the matchup, but it would be best to wait until Week 14 to activate him.

Is Darius Slayton playing Week 13?

UPDATE: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Slayton is expected to play against Washington.

UPDATE 2: Slayton is officially ACTIVE.

Slayton (illness) was officially listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s game against the Commanders. He did not practice on Thursday and Friday, leaving his status in the air.

If the veteran wide receiver cannot play Sunday, the Giants’ receiver core will be in trouble as they’re already without rookie Wan’Dale Robinson (ACL). The best-receiving options for Daniel Jones would be the trio of Richie James Jr., Marcus Johnson, and Kenny Golladay. James (knee) would have some flex upside against the Commanders’ below-average pass defense, but the rest can be left on waiver wires in fantasy leagues.

Is Zay Jones playing Week 13?

UPDATE: Jones is officially ACTIVE.

Jones (chest) was officially listed as “questionable” ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Lions but practiced in a limited fashion this week, setting the stage for him to play.

The veteran wide receiver is coming off his best performance this season with 11 receptions (14 targets) for 145 yards against the Ravens last week. The previous week against the Chiefs, Jones had eight receptions (10 targets) for 68 yards. Jones should be viewed as a solid WR3/flex option this week against a Lions’ defense that allows the third-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season.
