Fantasy WR Rankings Week 13: Who to start, sit at wide receiver in fantasy football

As we roll into Week 13, the margin for error is slimmer than ever, especially if you’re trying to lock into a fantasy football playoff spot. Our Week 13 fantasy WR rankings for standard leagues are affected by injuries and byes, but there are still some interesting sleepers and potential busts to watch out for.

Atop this week’s rankings is Bengals’ superstar Ja’Marr Chase (vs. Chiefs in Week 13), who’s expected to return after missing Cincinnati’s past four games with a hip injury. Elsewhere in the top 10, there aren’t too many surprises, as the usual suspects fit the bill as bona fide WR1s. Christian Kirk (@ Lions) might be the lone top-10 eye-catcher, but a juicy matchup against a weak Detroit secondary could result in a big-time performance.

This week, DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, and D.J. Moore are the three most impactful WRs omitted from the rankings because of byes. With only two teams idle, we essentially have the entire WR pool to choose from, which has its pros and cons. It’s nice to have options, but sometimes having so many makes your start ‘em, sit ‘em decisions even tougher.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Injuries aren’t helping either. The statuses of Darnell Mooney (leg), Mike Williams (ankle), Kadarius Toney (hamstring), Rondale Moore (groin), Romeo Doubs (ankle), Jerry Jeudy (ankle), and Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) are all up in the air this week. We’re optimistic about Jeudy and Meyers, but we wouldn’t be surprised if all of these guys sat out after either missing or barely playing last week.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

If you’re looking for a streamer, Zay Jones (@ Lions) is by far your best option. He’s posted back-to-back games with double-digit targets, so he’s especially valuable in PPR leagues. Marvin Jones and Jamal Agnew (@ Lions) also have some potential for the Jags. Olamide Zaccheaus (vs. Steelers), Richie James Jr. (vs. Commanders), DeAndre Carter (@ Raiders), Quez Watkins (vs. Titans), Elijah Moore (@ Vikings), DJ Chark (vs. Jaguars), Jauan Jennings (vs. Dolphins), and Kendall Hinton (@ Ravens) also have highly favorable matchups, but all should be considered low-floor, medium-ceiling options. Perhaps the most intriguing sleeper after Zay Jones is Jameson Williams (vs. Jaguars), who’s expected to make his season debut after sitting out the first 12 weeks with a knee injury. The explosive rookie could make an immediate impact and is a must-own in all formats.

Guys like Garrett Wilson (@ Vikings), Drake London (vs. Steelers), DeVonta Smith (vs. Titans), Diontae Johnson and George Pickens (@ Falcons), Allen Lazard and Christian Watson (@ Bears), Courtland Sutton (@ Ravens), Darius Slayton (vs. Commanders), and Tyler Boyd (vs. Chiefs) are all highly owned by not always in lineups. You’ll want to start them this week thanks to favorable matchups, though we Lazard and Watson are a bit riskier than usual if Aaron Rodgers (oblique) is out. Wilson and Pickens are especially high-floor, high-ceiling options.

On the flip side, be careful with receivers like Gabriel Davis (@ Patriots), Chase Claypool (vs. Packers), JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (@ Bengals), Brandin Cooks (vs. Browns), Adam Thielen (vs. Jets), Parris Campbell (@ Cowboys), Treylon Burks and Robert Woods (@ Eagles), and Curtis Samuel (@ Giants). We’d still start Davis and Smith-Schuster in most formats — and some of these guys will be tough to bench in shallow leagues — but all face varying degrees of difficult matchups and have been inconsistent throughout the year.

Note: We’ll be updating these WR rankings as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes.
