Arsenal’s winning start to the Premier League season came to an end away at rivals Manchester United last weekend and Mikel Arteta faces a demanding run of games this month.

Hosts FC Zurich, under new boss Franco Foda, are aiming to defend their Swiss Super League title in 2022/23.

Foda is without injured duo Ilan Sauter and Bogdan Vyunnyk and he will name a strong team to face the Gunners.

FC Zurich projected starting lineup (3-5-2): Brecher (GK) — Mets, Kryeziu,  Omeragić — Guerrero, Selnæs, Avdijaj, Džemaili, Boranijašević  — Rohner, Aiyegun.

Thomas Partey and Mo Elneny both miss the trip to Switzerland, but Emile Smith-Rowe has shaken off a knock, with changes expected for the visitors.
